Synopsis for hawaiian coastal waters.. Strong to severe Thunderstorms are possible across coastal waters through today as an unusually strong upper disturbance moves across the area. A surface trough will shift southeast, then remain over the central waters through Sunday. This trough will weaken and dissipate early next week as high pressure builds in from the northeast.
